About the hall and town

The old town hall was constructed in 1695 and throughout its lifetime has been a meeting room, courthouse, school, and after a refurbishment in 1889, a library. Today it is a small museum housing items from the history of the town. 

Sitting in the north of Wiltshire close Swindon, the small market town of Wootton Bassett became known for being on the route of repatriations of armed forces service men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in the late 2000s. Following a few years of locals gathering to pay respects and tributes, the town was granted a Royal patronage in 2011.

These are printed and hand-framed to order, taking 3-5 working days until dispatch via next-day tracked courier.

High quality print

All designs are original and created from scratch.

The posters are printed in the UK on a high quality digital press. They are printed on heavyweight matte paper and are UV light resistant. 

Unframed prints come clear wrapped and flat to avoid creasing & damage.

Framing

All posters can be framed to order, and are hand-framed in the UK. 

The frames have a 21mm wide edge (23mm deep) and are available in black or white smooth-finished hardwood. Acrylic perspex is used for the glaze, rather than glass as it’s less prone to breakages in shipping and looks just as good on your wall.

Framed orders take 3-5 working days until dispatch from our partner supplier.

Locally designed

All of the poster designs are created by Matt, who lives and works in Malmesbury and grew up in Cirencester. 

Beginning in 2019 with a few designs sold mostly at market stalls, Cotswold Poster Co has now sold over 18,000 posters and cards (both online and to local shops).
