I’m very pleased to share the poster design for this year’s Gloucestershire Festival of Polo. This is in fact something I created back in 2020 but Covid has meant this is the first festival for a few years so it’s great to finally have it out there!
Despite knowing very little about polo I was given some great action photos to work from and it was a lot of fun doing something so dynamic. I liked the idea of a design that had the action coming directly at the viewer. All a bit of a departure from the designs of buildings and landscapes that I normally create.
The design is being used for promotional posters, leaflets, and programmes for the festival. You can buy a display version of this polo poster print here (with less text than the advertising version) at A3 and A4 sizes.
You’ll also be able buy the poster at the event itself on the weekend 11 & 12 June where we’ll have a Cotswold Poster Co shopping marquee stall selling our full range of prints and cards. It takes place just outside Tetbury and right next door to Westonbirt Arboretum.
As well as the horse action there’ll be a various attractions and things to watch, food and drink stalls, and a traditional fun fair (which you can spot in the background of the design)! Should be a great day out so visit the Beaufort Polo Club for more information and to get your tickets.
