Malmesbury Bell Tower Poster
A retro travel-style poster of the bell tower of Malmesbury Abbey at dusk. It also shows the gateway entrance to the Abbey grounds and cemetary, known as the 'tolsey'.
Text reads: Malmesbury Wiltshire.
The bell tower was formerly part of St Paul's church, which was the parish church of Malmesbury until 1541. After the rest of the building either fell or was pulled down the remaining building became the bell tower for the abbey, which lost its own tower around the year 1500.
This illustration shows a modern take on the vintage tourism advertising of the early 20th century, to celebrate these great historic buildings.
- Print on high quality, satin finish, 190gsm stock paper.
- Poster will be well packaged with stiff cardboard to avoid creasing & damage.
- Product photography by Maisie Simpson.
