About Bourton on the Water

Bourton on the Water sits between Stow-on-the-Wold and Northleach and is a favourite tourist stop for visitors to the Cotswolds. It is home to lots of cafes, tea rooms, and family attractions, in particular the motor museum, bird park, miniature village and railway.

It's sometimes known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, due to the prominence of the river, though not to be taken literally as it's very shallow and you won't find any gondolas here. Once a year they do have a football match in the river though...

If you spend less than £25 there will be a postage charge based on the weight and size of the products matching current Royal Mail prices (e.g. £1.35 for a single greeting card, £2.70 for an A4 print, etc).

Orders are dispatched within 2 working days and sent by First Class Royal Mail, which takes 1-2 working days

These are printed and hand-framed to order, taking 3-5 working days until dispatch via next-day tracked courier.

High quality print

All designs are original and created from scratch.

The posters are printed in the UK on a high quality digital press. They are printed on heavyweight matte paper and are UV light resistant. 

Unframed prints come clear wrapped and flat to avoid creasing & damage.

Framing

All posters can be framed to order, and are hand-framed in the UK. 

The frames have a 21mm wide edge (23mm deep) and are available in black or white smooth-finished hardwood. Acrylic perspex is used for the glaze, rather than glass as it’s less prone to breakages in shipping and looks just as good on your wall.

Framed orders take 3-5 working days until dispatch from our partner supplier.

Locally designed

All of the poster designs are created by Matt, who lives and works in Malmesbury and grew up in Cirencester. 

Beginning in 2019 with a few designs sold mostly at market stalls, Cotswold Poster Co has now sold over 18,000 posters and cards (both online and to local shops).
